All alcohol stoves need a good windscreen/potstand to keep the flame from blowing out. A good windscreen will help concentrate the heat where you need it, on the pot or cup and decrease your cooking times considerably.

This is the extra wide windscreen shown with an 8" pot on it. The circle diameter is about 5 1/2" X 3 1/4" tall. This gives good stability to larger pots. This was made from specs a number of customers requested.

All the windscreens use the unique interlocking fingers to hold your pots safely and solid. There's plenty of vent holes to feed oxygen to the stove yet contain the heat and keep the flame intact.

This is the recommended method of making a grid for smaller cups to fit on top. The vent holes are 1/4" and a thick wire inserted through the holes will keep your windscreen working properly and safe. Laying tent pegs on the top is not recommended.

Notice the bends on the ends of the wire, nothing can roll off the windscreen when used in this manner. If you don't have access to some wires let us know right away when you place your order and we'll throw in a couple for you . I use #12 copper wire from old wiring, staying with the recycled theme.

Here's the XL windscreen/potstand. The circle diameter is approx 5" X 4 1/2" tall. This one will accomodate most brands of alcohol stoves and is very sturdy. 5 interlocking fingers assure the safety and stability needed for larger pots and pans.

The Xl windscreen shown next to our alcohol stove. It has just the right amount of ventilation to make an effective windshield. This one was made from customer requests for a larger model.
