FISHING FLOATS
Here's a fine set of catfishing floats made to catch the big ones. They will work on catfish or panfish of most any kind. These are quality made with a 14" hardwood dowel through the float material. They come all ready to use with 100 lb line, a large 1/0 swivel to keep the line from twisting and a sharp 5/0 hook made for the big boys. The dowels are drilled through the ends for your line to go through rather than using a screw eye that can come out over time. These can be put to work out of the box, all you need is the bait, a spot on the lake and a place to put your feet up.
I like to fish from either a dock or the boat so they are made to tie up overnight or all day if needed. Imagine fishing while you're at work or asleep, but check the local regulations first. Catfish love blue gills and sunfish of most any kind so they make excellent bait on the hook of a float or trot line. These are rigged with a 6 ft line for catfish, don't worry those big cats will swim up for an easy to catch sunfish or a chance at your favorite blood bait. The color of the line or float may vary, but it'll always be at least over 100 lb test and the float will be a contrasting color.
You can easily convert these to crappie rigs and catch bass as well. Here in Missouri we can have up to 33 hooks in the water so you can set them for different depths and soon know where the fish are.
