THE FIRES INSIDE We recycle aluminum into an alcohol stove suitable for the most elite of backpackers and campers. It's sold with a windscreen that also serves as a potstand and is completely recyclable.
We are also currently involved in the experimentation of Hydrogen Fuel Generators. We will add these as we go along.
Both items are something our beautiful world needs right now to help with the "regreening" of our environment.

This is a close up of our alcohol stove made from recycled beverage cans. It burns denatured alcohol or HEET gasline antifreeze. Simply pour some alcohol in the center and light it, as the alcohol heats up it turns into a gas within the outer walls. The gas will ignite and your stove will look and operate  similar to a propane rangetop.

The flames are invisible in daylight so we took this photo with the lights out.You can see the similarity to a regular stove top. It's hot!!

Here we're weighing the alcohol stove on an electronic scale. The stove is a smidge over 10 grams. The windscreen, stove, instructions and shipping tube all weigh in at less than 3 oz for very reasonable shipping.

The windscreen is about 3.25" tall and 14" long when flattened. After the first use it will become annealed (softened) and retain it's circular shape but can still be flattened. At that stage the aluminum windscreen will turn brown and black, this is normal and does nothing to affect it's usefulness.

Here you can see the annealed windscreen, stove and pot ready to cook.

The windscreen is plenty strong after annealing, I don't think anyone will add this much weight for normal cooking.

The stove will boil 2 cups of water and noodles on top of the windscreen/potholder with less than 2 oz of alcohol. It always lights, even in the rain and you can be cooking while others are still fooling around trying to light their stoves. Cooking times may be less with lighter cookware.

Stove and windscreen ready for use. I add a small strip of wire to keep the cooking cup from directly contacting the stove when the cup is cold, this keeps the stove operating at full speed as it helps a little air to circulate. The wire is only needed when cooking directly on top of the stove.

Breakfast is ready!! I set the pan on top of the windscreen to cook these eggs. I usually carry 2 alcohol stoves if I'm planning on more than a meal of noodles so I can cook 2 things at once. I also cook hot dogs speared on a fork or make toast over one. Just watch the flames, they're invisible but really HOT!!

Lunch is hot and steaming, nothing like a hot meal to pick up the spirits on a cold rainy day!!

We do offer the windscreen separately to replace inferior screens due to many requests. Forget the Aluminum foil that just blows away, this one only weighs a little over 1/2 oz and is made with excellent workmanship.

The unique interlocking fingers add no weight and hold the windscreen securely closed. If needed you can easily alter your windscreen to fit any camping cup with heavy scissors. These ship at the same rate as with the stove, so for a few dollars more you can have a new stove with instructions too.

All new and ready to impress you and your friends.

A well used windscreen that has a lot of life left in it.

The stove and windscreen come right out of the package with instructions and ready to use. You don't have to cut out or assemble anything unless you want to alter the screen to fit your cup.

I carry 2 stoves if I want to cook more than one thing and have them both hot at the same time. Everyone carries extra alcohol anyway and the stove weighs next to nothing.

Forget the crowded restaurants, a nice road side park will work just fine at lunch time. It's cheaper and you don't have to be a backpacker to enjoy the benefits of a good time in the outdoors.

30 minutes of a little serenity with something good to eat and I'm ready to drive or walk for hours again.

2 stoves make twice the heat for a large pot full of cold water. I always carry 2 stoves, the extra weight is negligible even for the most discriminating of backpackers.

It's like using more than one burner at home on the kitchen range. You can have more than one thing to eat tonight. Anyone buying a stove for emergency use at home should consider having 2 or more extra stoves stored in opposite sides of your home in case you aren't able to get to one.

This is a unique little lightweight stove that will boil water in minutes. These are designed for backpackers, hikers, campers, hunters, anglers or anyone out for a walk in the wild who want efficiency, not extra weight. They weigh less than 3 ounces including the windscreen and reusable package they are sent in. It's mailed in a heavy duty tube just right to carry it all in, or it will easily fit in your camping cup. They're also called a Pepsi stove or beer can stove.

Have you ever been Elk or Deer hunting in the mountains when there is snow on the ground or everything is wet and you're lost? I've been there when it got well below zero at night and it's pretty scary when you get disoriented. A few survival items in your backpack can make a life or death difference and give you plenty of confidence. Plan ahead a little and you can survive. No matter how wet the wood is, you can always start an alcohol stove, boil a little water for ramen noodles or whatever dehydrated food you like and you can survive with a little pre-planning and of course the proper equipment in your emergency kit.

The preferred fuels are:

Denatured alcohol

Methyl Alcohol

Ethyl Alcohol

HEET gasline antifreeze, (in the yellow bottle)

Please, no gasoline or Coleman fuel. Adult supervision required

Your new alcohol stove is easy to use and comes with instructions. The stove only weighs a smidge over 10 grams.

These put out an awesome amount of heat in seconds and you'll love it the first time it's used.

The stoves are made from recycled beverage cans so may have a few small dings or mars (experience marks), this is normal and will not affect the useability of the item. They are 100% recyclable including the windscreen which can double as a pot stand.

The windscreen stands approx 3 1/4" tall and is about 14" long when flattened. The circle is about 4" across. It is normal for the windscreen to turn brown or black after heating and will become annealed, so it will have a tendency to stay in the round shape, this is normal, but it can still be flattened.

Every outdoorsman should carry one of these and a little flask of alcohol for "just in case" or for a quick hot lunch. A couple tablespoons of alcohol in the stove will warm those cold hands quickly, just be careful as the flame is invisible in daylight. The perfect gift for your outdoors buddies or any ice fisherman or duck hunter. It's great to carry in a lunch box for a nice hot meal. You can use this stove in place of solid fuel stoves if you like their pot stand, but not the fuel.

This is an excellent item to add to your home emergency supplies. It's perfect, it won't deteriorate, it's cheap and completely dependable. Keep at least 2 stores of emergency supplies in opposite ends of your home just in case one end of your dwelling becomes inaccessible. An emergency kit should be kept in your car too.

It's hard to give specs on the stoves as I don't know where they end up being used. It varies depending on weather and altitude. I live in the Ozarks and the Lake of the Ozarks is only 660' above sea level, so if you're hunting on Gannett Peak in Wyoming or Pikes Peak in Colorado, the performance will vary, but rest assured the little stove will perform great. I timed one here because people have asked for something to go by.

It was 50 degrees here yesterday and raining, the humidity was 88%. 2 oz of alcohol boiled 2 cups of cold tap water to a rolling boil in about 13 minutes and continued to burn for another 6 minutes, the can I used for a pot was set directly on the stove. 1 oz will boil water in 6 minutes if the pot is placed on the windscreen. I've had 2 oz actually last for 29 minutes under other conditions, way too long to cook most meals, but you can bake a cake or biscuits, fry eggs or roast marshmallows, there's plenty of heat to manipulate. If you place your pot or pan directly on the stove it will reduce the flame and make the alcohol last a lot longer. I like to cook a regular meal once in awhile rather than just live on noodles and boiled water. I carry 2 stoves so I can cook two things at once. They don't weigh enough to make any difference and I always carry enough alcohol to last twice as long as I'll be out anyway in case of a spill.

These are quality made stoves, I don't speed through making them and you won't get a defective one. I wouldn't want to be out for a few days with a stove that a speed demon slapped together and I don't want that to happen to you either. Here's some of the feedback I've received, feel free to check it out:
