We ordered two stoves, windscreens and 20 oz. cups. We have used them twice and they have been absolutely outstanding. In the back country at Bandelier National Monument, New Mexico, at 7000 feet altitude with +/- 17 ounces of water they get to a rolling boil in 5.5 minutes and maintain the rolling boil for another 6.5 minutes using 1.5 ounces of denatured alcohol. To be quite honest, you have spoiled us rotten with these. Outstanding product, price and quality.
Also, the water we used was from the stream in Frijoles Canyon. We filtered the water with a hankerchief and used a Steripen to purify it. So the water was not "soft" by any means. Probably did not need to use the Steripen as your stoves would maintain the rolling boil for 6.5 minutes but what the heck. Cryptosporidium and giardia is present in that stream according to Park Rangers. Better safe than sorry.
The pictures are from two recent different Bandelier National Monument back country trips using your stoves as we talked about in ebay messages. On these trips we did not use the included windscreen and cups because the MRE packets would not fit in the cups (however, they work like champs as well). Nothing a canteen cup stand, canteen cup, tin foil and wire could not solve. Stoves were the best part by far. Adapt, overcome and improvise!

I used mine in MT at granite peak. about 11500 ft
and got a nice rolling boil in about 7 min. And no
problem with wind shields too. Its a great place
to test products.. but a pain to get up to the
bivy before the peak ..hahahha

a special note to say thank you.i am so glad i chose your site. the quality and workmanship is really appreciated. your screen design is very innovative in addition to the storage container a plus...you covered all the bases. before ordering from you, i read many illustrations from other suppliers and didn't know from which to choose...so i ordered the cull burners knowing it wouldn't be a financial loss. i must say, i was "really" impressed and need not look further. my next order will be the 2 cup, 2 burner, 2 screen combo as a present for my backpacking son who lives near glacier national park in montana. i know he will "really" be pleased to receive them. thanks for your contribution to ebay and the world for a wonderful product.
